PROCEDURE:
  1. Melt butter over low flame in a saucepan. Set aside and cool to lukewarm.
  2. Combine egg yolk, melted butter, fresh milk and waffle mix.
  3. Beat at low speed until no lumps are visible. Set it aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks are formed. Fold into the batter mixture.
  5. Preheat waffle iron. Brush with oil and spoon out about ¾ cup onto the center of the iron.
  6. Close the lid and bake until done.
