PROCEDURE:

Frosting:

  1. Combine all ingredient together and mix until well combined.
  2. Set it aside.

 

Base:

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Then add it into the butterscotch mix while still hot. Mix at low speed to combine.
  2. Add whole eggs and continue mixing for 1 minute at low speed.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix until no lumps are visible.
  4. Deposit into a round pan and bake at 180˚C for 40 – 50 minutes or until done.
  5. Set aside and allow for it to cool.
  6. Once cooled, divide the cake into half (horizontally). Set it aside.

 

Cheesecake:

  1. While waiting for the base to cool, beat cream cheese & sugar at medium speed until smooth.
  2. Add whole eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add all purpose flour and all purpose cream. Beat  mixture at low speed to combine.
  4. Add other remaining ingredients.
  5. Deposit into the prepared round pan and bake in a bain-marie or water bath at 170°C for 35 minutes.
  6. Cool at room temperature and apply as filling.

 

Assemble: 

  1. Secure half of the base on a cake board.
  2. Place cheesecake on top then, put the other half of the base on top of it. (For secure structure, one may opt to insert few cake skewers).
  3. Frost the cake and smoothen it out. Decorate as desired.
